Ingredients:

4 Traditional rice varieties, Brassica juncea, Musa acuminate, Hemidesmus indicus, Desmodium,triflorum, Trigonella foenum, Murraya koenigii,Syzygium aromaticum, Coriandrum sativum,Coccinia grandis, Piper nigrum, Centella asiatica,Cheilocostus speciosus, Citrus aurantiifolia,Hygrophila auriculate, Passiflora edulis, Aeglemarmelos, Manihot esculenta, Foeniculum vulgare, Cassia auriculate, Allium ascalonicum, Pandanus amaryllifolius, Artocarpus heterophyllus, Alliumsativum, Anethum graveolens, Asparagus,racemosus, Osbeckia octandra

Preparation Instructions:

1. Put ½ of the medicinal spice packet and ¼ cup

(50ml) of coconut milk (or fresh cows’ milk)

into a cooking pot.

2. Add 2 cups (400ml) of water and keep under

low flame.

3. Cut 2”x2” pumpkin piece, 2 slices of carrot and

2 green beans into small pieces.

4. Pound ¼ tea spoon mustard; add 2 garlic cloves

and crush (using mortar & pestle). Put mustardgarlic

mixture into the cooking pot and mix

well.

5. When the contents of the pot boils, add 3 cups

of water (600ml), washed rice mixture and rest

of the medicinal spice packet into the pot.

6. Add prepared vegetables and 3 curry leaves

also.

7. When rice is cooked well, add 2 cups (400ml)

of coconut milk (or fresh cows’ milk).

8. Boil once again; add salt to taste and take the

pot off the cooker.
